The drum scraper dryer is a drying equipment that is attached to the rotating drum body for continuous operation of liquid-phase materials through thermal conduction. The liquid material forms a film on the outer wall of the drum rotating at a certain speed, which is heated by the hot drum wall continuously fed with heating medium (water, steam or thermal oil). After drying, the film is scraped off by a scraper. The exhaust gas is discharged directly or after dust removal into the atmosphere. So, what are the operating procedures for it?
Firstly, turn on the main power switch inside the control cabinet and press the main power button on the panel.
1. Turn on the dehumidification fan and mixing motor.
2. Press the main motor button of the drum dryer and listen for the sound of the motor running and whether the drum is running smoothly and normally. Be sure to detach the scraper from the drum before turning on the rotating motor!
3. Slowly open the steam valve, control the steam pressure at 0.2Mpa first, open the bypass of the water delivery valve to drain condensate water for about 15 minutes, then close the bypass, open the drain valve, slowly adjust the steam pressure, control the steam at 0.4-0.6Mpa, so that the overall thermal expansion of the drum is uniform.
4. Open the valve of the slurry feeding pump, enter the feeding pump, enter the feeding valve, add the material into the bottom material tank, adjust the flow rate, and control the feeding speed.
6. When observing materials on the drum. Close the scraper and adjust the pressure of the scraper system (compressed air) to 0.2-0.3Mpa to maintain the pressure of the scraper on the drum.
7. Adjust the adjusting screw of the scraper again according to the sticking situation, so that the material on the surface of the drum can be smoothly scraped off, but do not damage the drum surface by being too tight.
8. Check if the scraper on the end face of the drum is dry. Check if the liquid level of the material is normal and adjust the feeding amount according to the liquid level.
10. After the material is dried, first close the slurry discharge valve.
11. Turn off the scraper switch and move the scraper away from the surface of the drum.
12. Stop steam supply and open the bypass valve of the steam trap to drain any accumulated water.
13. Turn off the host and mixing motor, and after about 30 minutes, turn off the dehumidification fan.
