What are the operating standards for rake vacuum dryers?

1. Power on inspection:

1.1 Check whether all transmission components and sealing components of the machine are intact; Is the cylinder clean and still; Check if the vacuum suction port and filter head are dry and static (sticking materials during use can affect the vacuum pumping rate)

1.2 Close the valve cover of the discharge port.

2. Equipment operation;

2.1 Open the feeding port and start adding materials.

2.2 Turn on the vacuum pump, and when a certain degree of vacuum is reached in the tank, insert the feeding tube into the powder and use the vacuum to suck the material into the tank. The loading should not exceed 0.5% of the volume, and the material should not contain hard and fast materials. If the material density or moisture content is too high, the feeding amount should be reduced.

2.3 If vacuum feeding is used, after the suction is completed, the feeding port is connected to the atmosphere, the valve on the vacuum pipeline is closed, the feeding pipe is removed, the feeding pipe cap is installed, the feeding cover (or manhole cover) is closed, and its sealing performance is ensured to be good.

2.4 Open the vacuum pipeline valve to achieve a certain degree of vacuum inside the tank.

2.5 Turn on the transmission motor to start and rotate the spindle in a balanced manner.

2.6 Open the heating steam or hot water valves of the jacket and rake shaft to dry the material after heating the tank and rake shaft.

2.7 Based on operational experience, the recovery amount of dissolved coal and the temperature inside the tank should be checked. After confirming that the drying process of the materials in the tank has ended, the steam (or hot water) should be cut off. Then, when the materials have dropped to the appropriate temperature, the vacuum pipeline valve should be closed and the vent valve on the vacuum system should be opened to connect the atmosphere inside the tank. The rake shaft should continue to operate and prepare for unloading. (When sampling during the drying process, the main button and power must be turned off)

2.8 Open the discharge valve to unload, and after unloading, close the main engine operation button and cut off the power.

2.9 Ensure that the power is turned off and someone is present to clean the residue inside the tank or on the rake shaft, and close the discharge hole cover to prevent dust from entering the tank.

Operation: Add the material into the container. (50% -60% of container capacity). ① Turn on the vacuum pump. ② Set the forward and reverse rotation time of the motor and start the motor. ③ Turn on hot water (steam or heating oil) to achieve the purpose of drying the material. ① Stop heating. ② Stop the motor from rotating. ③ Close the vacuum and open the vent valve to reach atmospheric pressure. ④ Set the motor to reverse. ⑤ Open the discharge door to discharge the material.
